Characterization and Modeling Using Non-Destructive Test (NDT) and Experimental Design Methods of a Self Compacting Concrete (SCC) Based on Mineral Additions

The formulation of an innovative concrete that meets the requirements a self-compacting (SCC), with acceptable performance in terms rheology fresh state; good fluidity, ease placing, without segregation as well mechanical strength and durability at hardened state has become great research interest for last decades. Numerous studies have shown favorable effects limestone fillers on SCC properties. This study aims investigating effect inert mineral addition dosages 10% 20% grinded to different fine nesses 2000, 3000 4000 cm2/g physico-mechanical properties self-placing using slump, L-box sieve stability tests. Also, means destructive non-destructive tests (NDT) methods assessment performances were used. use experiment factorial design method allows us behavior laws predict response when combined according numerical model such study. Hence, modeling could be derived by statistical analysis regards factors their interaction. results obtained showed incorporation filler composition improves fluidity limited segregation, (resistance compression flexion). predicted compressive response, particular age 28 days, is judged determined coefficient R2 equal 0.994.
